The robbery of 8 lakh in broad daylight near Jaipur Golden Hospital in Rohini area of Delhi has been revealed on September 28. The police have arrested the four accused who carried out this incident. Mastermind Ashwani alias Ashu had hatched a complete conspiracy by gathering information about cash transactions. The police have also recovered 6.22 lakh rupees from them.
This incident took place when the delivery staff Adarsh Srivastava was going to his employer with 8 lakh rupees. The accused stopped him at the tip of the knife near Jaipur Golden Hospital. After snatching cash from him, he escaped from there. After this incident, a complaint was lodged at South Rohini police station, on the basis of which the police registered a case and started investigation.
According to a police officer, the accused have been identified as Ashwani alias Ashu (22), Gautam alias Bhura (22), Bharat Kirad (22) and Hitesh Pawar alias Hittu (22). All four were involved in criminal activities for a long time. During the investigation, the police searched footage of more than 100 CCTV cameras. Along with this, information was gathered from the local network.
Meanwhile, on the basis of a secret information, the police laid a trap and on September 30, Bharat and Hitesh were caught near the Japanese park in Rohini. The remaining two accused, Ashwani and Gautam, were caught from Mukarba Chowk on 3 October, based on the clues found in the interrogation of both. The police have recovered 6.22 lakhs from the stolen amount from his possession.
Police investigation revealed that Ashwani was the mastermind of this robbery. He had received information about cash transactions near the hospital. After this, he collected his colleagues, arranged for weapons and planned to distribute money after loot. After the robbery, the accused fled in different directions. Mangolpur distributed money in a park near Kalan.
Two of these accused left for Uttarakhand. Investigation also revealed that the four accused were immersed in drug addiction after leaving their studies. Unemployment and financial crisis made him criminals. He used to fulfill drugs and alcohol addiction with the money received from robbery. The police have registered a case against the four under the relevant sections of the Indian Code.
