The Supreme Court will hear the petition given by Geetanjali Angamo, wife of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, arrested under the National Security Act (NSA) on the Leh violence. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Monday (October 6, 2025) on a petition filed against the custody of husband Sonam Wangchuk on behalf of Gitanjali Angamo.
According to the report of news agency ANI, Justice Arvind Kumar and Justice N. The bench of V. Anjaria will hear the case, which has also demanded to release climate activist Sonam Wangchuk.
Sonam Wangchuk arrested under NSA

Allegations of inciting violence in Leh on Wangchuk
Ladakh officials accused climate activist Sonam Wangchuk of inciting violence in Leh. Sonam Wangchuk was going on a hunger strike demanding Ladakh to get full state status and to include it in the sixth schedule of the Constitution.
