The Congress has accelerated its election preparations for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. Party President Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday appointed former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel and former Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary in Lok Sabha as Senior Supervisors for Bihar elections.
Congress General Secretary K.C. The statement issued by Venugopal said, “The Congress President has appointed Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel and Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary as senior observers of AICC for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections with immediate effect.”
Along with this, the Congress has also announced 41 district election observers to monitor electoral activities in every district of the state. All these leaders will work to strengthen the organization in their allotted districts, review the candidate selection process and coordinate with party workers at the ground level.
