A round of strategies for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar is going on, in this sequence, a meeting of the BJP Election Committee was held in Patna on Saturday. In this, the party’s strategy and potential candidates for the upcoming elections were discussed. BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal made a big announcement after the meeting and said that this time no elder brother-Chhota will play in the election. The NDA will fought elections unitedly and will stand like a rock.

The meeting was held late in the evening at the state headquarters of the party. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan presided over the meeting. He has been named in -charge of the party for Bihar elections.

At the same time, BJP National General Secretary (Bihar in -charge) Vinod Tawde, who was involved in the meeting, wrote on his X handle that Bihar is ready to choose the development government once again. Today, the possible candidates of the upcoming elections were discussed in the Bihar Election Committee meeting.

After the meeting, Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said that the party has completed the review of 60 seats, the remaining seats will be held again at 6 pm on Sunday. The application of new candidates has also been considered in the meeting held on Saturday. After the second round meeting, a list of candidates will be prepared, which will be sent to the central leadership and the final seal will be imposed by the BJP Central Committee.

Dilip Jaiswal said that the party discussed 60 of its 84 seating seats, the remaining seats and lost seats in 2020 assembly elections will be discussed again on Sunday. The performance of the existing MLAs and the names of potential candidates on their seats were also considered.

Focus on anti-incumbency seats

It was decided in the meeting that women and youth will be given priority in elections. The current MLAs who have performed well and do not have anti-incumbency against them will be given a chance again. At the same time, special discussions are being done on the candidates against whom there is anti-incumbency.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya (BJP’s co-Prakari), Union Minister Nityanand Rai, Giriraj Singh and local MP Ravi Shankar Prasad were also present in the meeting. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha wrote on his X handle, today there was widespread discussion on the upcoming assembly elections in the Bihar Election Committee meeting. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar has set new standards of development, good governance and public welfare.
