Pakistan is confused on US President Donald Trump’s ‘Gaza Peace Plan’. Hamas accepted some conditions of the plan

This statement of Shahbaz Sharif came after Hamas accepted a conditional accepting parts of Trump’s 20-Cutrician Peace Scheme, which aims to end the struggle going on for almost two years. What did Ishaq Dar say on Trump’s statement?

Ishaq Dar told Parliament that Trump’s Gaza Plan is not the one on which Muslim leaders agreed to the meeting held in New York on 22 September. He said, ‘These 20 points are not like us. Changes have been made in them.

According to Dar, the original Muslim proposal demanded the full return of Israel from Gaza and ‘justified peace based on two-state solutions’. He further said that Trump personally assured Muslim leaders that he would stop any occupation of Israel on the west coast.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s original attitude has still not changed. He will never recognize Israel and will continue to support a Palestinian kingdom situated on the borders before 1967, which will be the capital Jerusalem (Al-Kuds Al Sharif). He also confirmed that the scheme has been said to deploy international peace soldiers in this scheme and Pakistan is considering whether soldiers should be sent or not.
