The Kyiv struggle has once again reached the borders of Europe. After the latest Russian aerial attacks, NATO member country Poland on Sunday scrambled its aircraft and made the aircraft security at the highest level. Ukrainian President Vlodimir Jailonsky said Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 50 missiles and about 500 drones.
Jailonsky said the attack included cruise missiles, martyred drones, kinjal missiles and other weapons. The main target of the attack was LVIV, Ivano-Frankivesk, Zaporizia, Cherniv, Sumi, Kharkiv, Kherason, Odessa and Kirovoharad regions.

Laviv, which is just 70 km from the border of Poland, was the most affected. Ukrainian officials said that there was rain of missiles and drone attacks here, power supply was interrupted and public transport was closed.
Air defense system active in Ukraine
Laviv’s Mayor Andre Sadovi said, “The city’s air defense system was active with full force. First drone attacks were attacked, then Russian missiles were fired. Electricity supply is disrupted in some areas and it is dangerous to get out on the roads.”
