A raw house suddenly collapsed due to rain in Goz village of Lalauli police station area in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. In this accident, five people sleeping inside the house were buried in the rubble. With the help of villagers, everyone was removed and admitted to the nearest CHC.
Elderly died in accident
According to the police and local administration, the people sleeping in the house were Sukhrani (75), Hiralal (55), Heera (25), Meena (23) and Yogendra (20). After the accident, the villagers reached the spot after hearing the shouts and after much effort, they took everyone out of the rubble.
After first aid, four injured were referred to the district hospital, where doctors described their condition as critical. During this time Hiralal died. CO Jafarganj Durgesh Deep told that the incident of collapse of the house took place in Goz village of Lalauli police station area.
House collapsed due to heavy rains
He said that the police and revenue department team immediately reached the spot and started relief work. Assured the victim’s family of all possible help. Villagers said that the house was completely raw and its walls and roofs had become weak due to continuous rains.
For this reason, the house suddenly fell. Local people played an important role in taking out the people trapped in the rubble. There is chaos in the family after the incident. The family of the deceased Hiralal is in a weeping condition. The administration has said that financial and other help will be given to the affected family.
