Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has said that the assembly elections in Bihar will be held before 22 November as the term of Bihar Legislative Assembly is till 22 November. Bihar has a total of 243 assembly seats and elections will be held on time. The entire team of Election Commission has been active in Bihar for two days. During this time, the team has held meetings with political parties, administrative election officials, top administrative officials, enforcement agencies, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Special Police Nodal Officer (SPNO), and Nodal Police Force (CAPF) nodal officers in Patna, so that preparations for the election can be fully ensured.

The Election Commission said that now there will be no more than 1200 voters at any polling booth. This system will improve both voting process and security. BLO (BOUSH Level Officer) will now contact voters directly and they have been provided ID cards for ease of identity. Apart from this, the facility to vote by depositing mobiles has also been started, so that voters do not bring mobile to polling booths.
100% webcasting at polling station
The Chief Election Commissioner said that one-stop digital platform will be implemented in Bihar. Now every candidate can deploy his agent up to 100 meters from the booth. All polling stations will have 100% webcasting. The EVM will now have colorful photos and ballot paper with colorful photos and serial numbers instead of black and white ballot paper, which will make the identity of the candidates easier and make the voting process transparent.
