Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday criticized Congress MP and Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement at EIA University in Columbia. He said that Rahul is the first such LOP to go abroad and speak against the country and democracy.
The Union Minister said that after losing the election, Indira Gandhi was asked about the government’s action against her. He refused to speak anything against India. Rijiju alleged that Rahul is presenting India’s facts incorrectly.
He said that no earlier LOP did this. Indira Gandhi, LK Advani, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sushma Swaraj or Sharad Pawar did not speak against the country or the government abroad.
Actually Rahul Gandhi is on a 10 -day tour of South American countries. On Thursday, he targeted the Narendra Modi government at Eia University in Kolimbaya. He said that India’s biggest threat is the attack on democracy.
Rijiju said people will think abroad- all like Rahul in India In an interview to the news agency ANI, Rijiju said that he watched a video of Rahul’s Colombia. Rahul had said that India cannot lead the world. Rijiju called it completely wrong. He said that India has become a leader in many fields under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
LOP’s abroad is to say that India cannot become a global leader, wrong. The problem is that people abroad will think that all are like Rahul Gandhi in India. This will tarnish the image of the country.
