Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said that BLO has now been given modern smart ID cards, so that when they meet voters, people can easily identify them. Voters coming to polling stations will have to submit their mobile phones outside the polling booth. For this, indigenous pigeon style or small jute bags will be prepared, in which mobiles will be kept safe.
Gyanesh Kumar said that now there will be no more than 1200 voters at any polling station in the country. Along with this, One Stop Digital Platform is also being implemented from Bihar for the first time. The polling stations will now allow the candidates to install the facility table at a distance of 100 meters, whereas earlier this distance was 150 meters.
100 % webcasting of voting
From now on, 100 percent webcasting will be done at every polling station. With this, the voting percentage, voting trends and other figures will be able to raise accuracy more rapidly.
Colorful photos and big letters on EVM now
The Election Commission said that now there will be a colorful photo of candidates in ballot paper sticking on EVM. The names of the candidates will be printed in coarse and big letters, so that voters can easily identify them.
New rule in postal ballot count
Another significant improvement is that the counting of postal ballot will be completed 2 rounds before the final count of EVMs. This will increase the counting process and accuracy of the results.

The Chief Election Commissioner said that the purpose of all these reforms is to ensure independent, fair, transparent and inclusive elections. With these changes, Bihar will not only become a laboratory of election reforms, but will also decide the direction of implementing these reforms in the whole country in the coming time.
