The England team had scored 38 runs for 2 wickets in 5 overs in the first T20 match played in Kolkata. After this, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav handed the ball to Varun Chakraborty. Varun, who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, took two wickets in his second over and pushed England on the backfoot. Varun also dismissed English captain Jos Buttler (68) in his last over.
