In Haryana, a sarpanch became expensive with a fight with a love marriage. The wife first filed a case of harassment, kidnapping and abortion. After this, he fought a long legal battle and also removed it from the post of sarpanch.

The sarpanch also tried to escape by arguing for a case in the court. However, the deputy commissioner took action on him when there was no restriction to remove the sarpanch from the High Court.
DC Anish Yadav of Hisar dismissed him as a sarpanch under the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act 1994 Panchayat Act 51. DC argued that the sarpanch has cases under the serious sections, which gives him the right to remove it from the post.

Got in connection with court case The victim Suman Rani told that Sunil found her in connection with a case. During acquaintance, Sunil said that he is a lawyer. However, he then lied because he was studying LLB at that time. After this, the meetings between them increased in 2018.
Love marriage in 2021, then he became a sarpanch Suman further said – We are from the same caste. Seeing everything, he got a love marriage to Sunil in 2021. After this Sunil became the sarpanch of Raipur village. After marriage, Sunil started keeping him separate from the family. His family was aware of this. After this, he slowly started fighting and talking about bringing 15 weighing gold, car.
He kept on facing her for a year, miscarried Suman told that like every girl, she wanted her house to settle. She kept withstanding everything for a year. Meanwhile, Sunil Kumar got her abortion. When all this thing started happening, he complained to the Civil Line police station in Hisar.
Case filed against sarpanch in 2022 On this, a case was registered against Sunil Kumar on 17 November 2022. In which sections 498A, 313, 323, 506, 34 IPC of IPC were imposed. After this, wife Suman had registered a case on 1 July 2023 like several sections including kidnapping, bullying on a person named Sarpanch Sunil Kumar and Pramod.
The sarpanch took refuge in the High Court, could not give evidence to the administration, after the case was registered in 2022, the district administration issued a show cause notice to the sarpanch. In which the sarpanch described the allegations against him as baseless. The Sarpanch also filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court to dismiss the case which is still under consideration. In response to the notice, the sarpanch could not give any concrete evidence to the administration.
Administration called both sides for hearing After this, the district administration called the sarpanch and his wife Suman on 22 January 2025 at 11 am on 22 January 2025 for personal hearing. Both sides came to the hearing. During this, wife Suman said that action should be taken against the convict according to the law. The sarpanch should be dismissed from the post as he has committed heinous crime. Suman also showed evidence related to abortion to the administration.
The sarpanch spoke about the court case but there was no ban on the removal from the post After this, the sarpanch was asked that you had to say something. On this, the sarpanch argued the case in front of the administration in the High Court. Sunil Kumar said that the case was registered against him in 2022, whose trial session court was going on in Hisar.
On this, the Hon’ble High Court stayed the trial court from passing the final order. The administration asked whether the High Court had also ordered not to remove the sarpanch. On this, the sarpanch said that no such orders were given. After this, DC passed orders to remove the sarpanch from the post.
The wife fought a long legal battle over this. After this, the wife of the sarpanch complained to the district administration on 8 February 2024, the charge on Sarmpach falls under the category of heinous crime. Even after this, no action was taken on the victim’s complaint for several months.
