Indian spinner Varun Chakravarthy said before the second T20 match against England that the level of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is at par with the IPL and cricketers should play more domestic tournaments to improve their game in the T20 format. He said in the press conference before the second match, “The level of domestic cricket is very high. I would say at par with IPL or other international matches. Varun further said, “When I was dropped in 2021, I got a lot of opportunity to work on the mental aspect and technique of my game. I made a lot of changes in my bowling.
