New Delhi. The last year i.e. 2024 was excellent for Rohit Sharma as a captain and batsman in T20 International cricket. The ICC has also acknowledged Hitman’s captaincy. ICC has made Rohit the captain of the T20 Team of the Year 2024. The team selected by ICC includes 4 Indian players including Rohit, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya.
Last year, under his captaincy, he led India to the T20 World Cup. Team India performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup last year and won this prestigious trophy for the second time. Last year he scored 378 runs in 11 matches. During this period his batting average was 42. Last year, Hitman scored runs at a strike rate of 160. Which included 3 half centuries. Rohit’s best score was 92 runs which he made against Australia in the Super 8 stage of the World Cup.

Arshdeep created a stir in fast bowling throughout the year

Hardik Pandya batted well along with bowling in T20 last year. Along with taking 16 wickets in 17 matches, he also scored 352 runs. He became the savior for the team on many occasions. Pandya bowled brilliantly in the T20 World Cup final. He emerged as a hero. He brilliantly defended 16 runs in the final against South Africa and helped India win the World Cup. Pandya took 3 wickets for 20 runs in the final.

Jasprit Bumrah made a great comeback in T20
Jasprit Bumrah had performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup. The right-arm fast bowler took 15 wickets in 8 matches. It is not easy for anyone to face Bumrah’s dangerous yorker.
