Ola Electric has used its patented brake by wire technology in a third generation scooter. The company says that when the brake is applied to any normal two-wheeler, the heat (heat) is produced by the vehicle’s kinetic energy. This affects the life of break pads and also affects the mileage.
But the brake by wire technology given in this new scooter is being used by patented brake-sensor. This sensor not only identifies the braking pattern but also detects the emergency of the sensor braking. This technique generates mechanical braking as well as electronic braking. During this time, Kinetic Energy is converted into electricity and charges the battery. The company claims that with the help of this technology, the scooter not only gets 15% more range but also doubles the life of the scooter’s brake-pad.
