There was a stampede on the second nectar bath: In Mahakumbh, on January 28, there was a stampede at around 2 pm before bathing the nectar of Mauni Amavasya. 3. Mahakumbh: The last Amrit bath 2.33 crore took a dip; SC refuses to hear the stampede case
The third and last nectar of Mahakumbh took place on Vasant Panchami. People from more than 30 countries arrived in it. First the Panchayati Niranjani Akhara, then the other 12 Akharas took a bath. On the other hand, the Supreme Court refused to hear the Mahakumbh stampede case and asked to go to the High Court. The petition demanded the release of guidelines for the safety of the devotees.
2.33 crore devotees bathed on the previous day: By 6 pm, 2.33 crore devotees took a dip in the Sangam. Since January 13, more than 34.97 crore devotees have taken bath. 7. MLA’s brother killed son, shot dead in Ujjain over land dispute
In Ujjain, Mangal Malaviya, the elder brother of BJP MLA Satish Malviya, was shot dead by Mangal Malaviya. According to the police, there was a dispute with Mangal Malaviya’s son Arvind (30) over land and grocery shop money. The argument grew so much that in anger, Mangal fired 3 on son Arvind with a licensed gun. After the first firing, he ran towards the roof and the father also ran after him. After this, two more bullets were shot on the stairs. Arvind died on the spot due to one bullet head and the other on the chest.
Controversy over 7 bigha land: According to the police, the accused Mangal has two sons, two daughters. The family has about 7 bighas of land in Ujjain. Arvind was the elder son.
