Amit shah meeting: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level review meeting in Delhi on Wednesday (5 February 2025) regarding the security situation of Jammu and Kashmir. The Home Minister directed all security agencies to intensify the fight against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir so that the infiltration could be completely eliminated.
Presiding over two high-level review meetings in two days on security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Home Minister Amit Shah said that PM Modi’s leadership is committed to the central government to completely eliminate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Terrorists have to be eliminated’
The meeting was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary, Director of Intelligence Bureau, Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir and senior officials of the Home Ministry and the Director General of Police and senior officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Administration. Home Minister Amit Shah said that due to the continuous efforts of the Modi government, the ecosystem of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir has weakened. He said, “Our goal is to eliminate the existence of terrorists from the root. Terror funding from drug trade should be strictly curbed and strictly curbed.”
Review meeting was held with Army Chief
Home Minister Amit Shah also held a review meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday (4 February 2025), which was attended by several senior officials including Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, and the Union Home Secretary. These meetings were held in view of the terrorist attack in Kulgam district of South Kashmir, in which ex -soldier Manjur Ahmed Wage was killed and his wife and niece were injured.
The Home Minister directed the agencies to make new appointments in the posts of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in view of new criminal laws. He directed the security agencies to be vigilant and continue working with coordination to end terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
