Amit Chelawat (45), a resident of South Tukoganj, was playing badminton as usual. Two rounds of the game were complete, when Amit’s chest pain started. They went to one side and sat down. Shortly, he fainted. When the colleagues gave CPR, they got up and sat down.
When he wanted to give a sorbitrate tablet as an instantaneous treatment, Amit refused to take it saying that he could not eat anything before 8 am according to Navakarsi, the tradition of Jainism.
