President Donald Trump administration has started the process of sending them back, showing strictness against illegal migrants living in the US. In this sequence, an American military aircraft reached India on Wednesday with 104 illegal immigrants. This is the first batch by the Trump government to send back Indians. Among the exiled people are 33-33 from Haryana and Gujarat, 30 from Punjab, three from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh and two from Chandigarh.
The exiled people include 19 women and 13 minors. These include a four -year -old boy and two girls aged five and seven years. The C-17 GlobeMaster aircraft of the US Air Force landed at Amritsar Airport at 1:55 pm on Wednesday. The exiled people were questioned by various government agencies including Punjab Police and various state and central intelligence agencies inside the airport terminal building to find out if they have any criminal record. After this, everyone was sent to their respective states.
