Weather forecast: The weather in North India has completely changed. In Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, the cold sunshine seems to be almost over. However, due to the effect of western disturbance, weather fluctuations can be seen in the coming days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of rain and fog in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar. The weather in Delhi will be dry during the day, but due to the possibility of rain, it is possible to fall in temperature. Cold winds can blow in the morning and night, which will make the cold re -felt.
Delhi is expected to remain clean in Delhi since Wednesday (5 February). After light rain on Tuesday night, the Safdarjung Center recorded 0.5 mm of rain. The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.8 degrees and the maximum temperature was 26 degrees Celsius. Although Delhi’s air quality remains in the ‘poor’ category, but it has been expected to improve it on Friday.
How will the weather be in Uttar Pradesh?
The weather will be clear in most areas of Uttar Pradesh today, but light rain may occur in eight districts. Rain is forecast in Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Saharanpur and Moradabad. On February 6, there is a possibility of winds at a speed of 20-30 km per hour in eastern and western UP. On 8 February, the effect of western disturbance may have a decline of minimum temperature by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
Himachal Pradesh increased cold due to snowfall
The height areas of Himachal Pradesh have received fresh snowfall, which has increased the melting. The Meteorological Department has confirmed snowfall in Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti and Chamba districts. Snowfall was recorded in Kufri and Narkanda of Shimla, Manali in Kullu and Dalhousie of Chamba. Kothi has received 33 cm snowfall, 9 cm in Keylong and 7.4 cm in Manali.
Due to fresh snowfall, the streets of Lahaul and Spiti have increased slippery due to which the local administration has advised to avoid unnecessary travel. The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ warning of thunderstorms and lightning in Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra and Solan. At the same time, there is a possibility of dense fog in Una, Bilaspur and Mandi.
Light rain continues in Rajasthan
Due to western disturbance in Rajasthan, light rain was recorded in the eastern parts in the last 24 hours. There was drizzle in many areas including Dholpur, Sikar and Ajmer. Fatehpur recorded a minimum temperature of 3.9 degrees Celsius while in Bikaner, Nagaur and Jalore the temperature was between 5 and 7 degrees Celsius. The weather is likely to be clear in the state till 8 February.
Rainfall also estimates in Bihar, Haryana and Punjab
In Bihar, the cold remains cold due to western disturbance, but the temperature may gradually increase. There will be dense fog in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya and Darbhanga. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain for the next three days in Haryana and Punjab. AQI 302 was recorded in Gurugram and 217 in Faridabad, which falls in the poor category.
