PM Modi targeted the Congress, said ‘the feelings of the Constitution were blown away’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while speaking on the vote of thanks on the President’s address in Parliament, made a scathing attack on the Congress. He said that the basic mantra of the Congress is ‘Family First’, while BJP’s ‘Nation First’. Modi said that ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is not possible for the Congress. He mentioned decisions like strengthening SC, ST Act, giving constitutional status to the OBC Commission and 10% reservation to the general class poor. Modi claimed that his government has taken 25 crore people out of poverty. He also mentioned the initiatives for the middle class and the youth. Modi said that the Congress had blown away the feelings of the constitution makers soon after independence. He said that during the Congress rule, there was a license-marit rule and the country is breathing peace after getting rid of the claws of the Congress. Referring to the resolve of developed India, he said that the country will make it untouched by this.
