Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while replying to the discussion on the vote of thanks, targeted the Congress in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday (February 6, 2025). He said, “The Congress party is limited to the family only. It would be a big mistake to expect the Congress to ‘Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas’.” The Congress has now retaliated on PM Modi’s statement. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh accused PM Modi of defaming the Congress.
Talking to the news agency ANI, Jairam Ramesh said, “The Prime Minister was only defaming the Congress in his 90 -minute speech, PM was shedding Ganga of lies in 90 minutes, PM was just giving election speeches.” He further said, “The Prime Minister is not aware of the dignity of the House. In the House, PM Modi should speak on inflation and increasing unemployment in the country.” Congress veteran Jairam Ramesh said, “America has insulted Indians, Modi ji should speak on it.” He further said, “This government is attacking the Constitution, and PM Modi presented history in the House.
