People are getting sick due to dirty bacteria in the water of many societies of Greater Noida West. Hundreds of people of four societies have become ill by drinking water till Abi. When the people of the society constantly fell ill, when the water was tested, many types of bacteria have been confirmed in the water.
In societies, people are boiling and drinking water as a precaution. Although health camps are being set up in societies to check water, the number of sick people is continuously increasing due to the illness of people getting sick and drinking bacteria contaminated water. In fact, the water problem in Greater Noida West is constantly increasing, where people are upset due to lack of water in summer, hundreds of people are getting sick with the same dirty water.
Water samples have been sent for examination
In Greater Noida West’s Arihant Garden Society, Eco Village 1 Society, Havelis Valenisa and Panchsheel Highnis Society, the number of sick people is continuously increasing due to contaminated water. In the investigation report sent for samples check of contaminated water from societies, the Koli Farm in Arihant Garden Society and Eco Village Village Varge Virus have been confirmed.
Ranjana, a resident of Eco Village Forest Society, said that many people have been falling ill for a few days in her society. People are having vomiting and diarrhea, with other stomach problems.
‘Water was contaminated due to pipe breakdown’
Resident Ranjana said that the pipes inside the society are broken from many places, which are being repaired. Due to these broken pipes, water has been contaminated and people are constantly getting sick in the society. However, after the complaint, the officials of the Authority of Greater Noida and the team of Bisarkha Health Center have conducted a camp here. He told that more than 50 people have become ill in the society and their number is increasing continuously. Residents of the society are demanding the administration and Greater Noida Authority to fix the contaminated water.
Demand for water check
Arihant Garden Society Apartment Owner Association (AOA) President Nishith Chaturvedi said that the number of people getting sick has been increasing continuously for the last 10 to 12 days in his society. People are having diarrhea, vomiting and other types of stomach disease. Along with this, they got information that people are getting sick in the surrounding society too.
After which he has demanded from the Greater Noida Authority and the administration to check the water. When the water testing of the society is tested, the water investigation report has confirmed the coliform and the E -Koli virus, they have demanded the Greater Noida Authority to purify the water so that people can get rid of the disease.
People are upset with contaminated water
GM Rajesh Gautam of Greater Authority said that complaints of contaminated water have been received in many societies of Greater Noida West. He said that the water supplied by the authority is even outside the society. If the work of supplying that water into the society through pipes is done by the society and the builder, then it is their internal matter.
The investigation report that has come so far has been done by the residents of the society. The authority has taken water samples and sent it for investigation, along with the authority has issued a notice to the builder. After the investigation report, appropriate action will be taken against the builder including penalty.
