In Bengaluru, the police have arrested a high-profile professional thief who is fond of luxury life and high-profile connections. These vicious thieves have carried out not one or a half hundred and fifty theft incidents in different parts of the country. Despite being married, he used to loot millions of rupees on his different girlfriends.
Steps in the world of crime at a young age
According to the police, the accused thief has been identified as Panchakshari Swamy (37), a resident of Solapur in Maharashtra, who has been involved in more than 180 theft cases in many states. According to Madiwala police, Panchakshari Swamy started stealing while being a minor in the year 2003 and by 2009 he had become a professional thief.
Crores of rupees looted on girlfriends
It is being told that despite being married and being the father of a child, he has looted money on many girlfriends. He has allegedly spent crores of rupees on his girlfriends. In which one such girlfriend is also included, for which he has also built a house of Rs 3 crore. Similarly, he also gifted an aquarium of Rs 22 lakh on the birthday of one of his girlfriends. After being caught, the accused Panchakshari Swamy has claimed that she had a connection with a famous actress in the year 2014-15. And he also spent a huge amount on it.
Criminal records and arrests
Panchakshari Swami was arrested by the Gujarat Police in the year 2016 and spent six years in Sabarmati jail. After his release, he resumed his stolen activities and was re -arrested in Maharashtra before returning to Bengaluru in 2024. On 9 January, he carried out a theft incident in Madivala, due to which he was recently arrested.
Swami lived in a small house
Despite stealing crores, Panchakshari Swami lived in a small house of 400 square feet in his mother’s name. Due to the outstanding loan, this house has currently gone to the bank auction. Meanwhile, he built expensive houses for his girlfriends.
Clothes used to change after every theft
Panchakshari Swami used to search the closed houses before stealing. After every theft, he used to change clothes on the road to avoid doubt. He used a small fire gun to melt the stolen gold. The police have recovered gold jewelry, a fire gun and gold melting equipment from him.
Trained in karate
Interestingly, Panchakshari Swami Karate also has black belts, due to which they are physically efficient and agile. Madiwala police is currently questioning him and further investigation is going on.
