As soon as Donald Trump’s power is taken over, 104 Indian citizens who were declared illegal migrants in the US have been sent back to India. In a special aircraft of the US Army, all these Indians were brought to India like criminals. The aircraft was landed at Amritsar Airport in Punjab. Sending Indian citizens back from America in this way remains a matter of debate in India. Opposition party Narendra Modi is an attacker on the government. Meanwhile, a statement has been issued regarding Indian citizens sent back from America on behalf of the US embassy in New Delhi.
The US embassy has said that whoever enters the US illegally, will be sent back. The embassy said that implementing immigration laws in America is very important for national security and safety of people.
In the US embassy statement, illegal migrants like Donald Trump were addressed as ‘aliens’. The statement said that it is an American policy to follow immigration laws honestly to remove these illegal aliens (migrants) from the country.
Among the total 104 Indian citizens coming to India from the military plane of America, 79 men and 25 women and 13 children are also included. The plane landed at Amritsar Airport at 1.59 pm on Wednesday. According to reports, these Indians sent back from the US were caught from the Mexico-American border. It is being said that he had left India legitimately but he tried to enter America through Dunki route.
Trump’s decision to send migrants back from military aircraft in controversies
Ever since winning the election in the US, President Donald Trump has taken a tough stand in the case of illegal migration. Trump is constantly saying that, by not sending illegal migrants to detention center, he wants to send them back to their country as soon as possible. After winning the election in December last year, he said that, he does not want this illegal migrants to stay in camps for 20 years. Trump had said that, he will send all these people back to their country and these countries will also have to take back their citizens.
The special thing is that military aircraft were never used to send illegal migrants back to their country in America. Doing so is also many times more expensive than the civil plane. Despite this, US President Donald Trump did not worry about spending. He thought it better to send back illegal migrants from the US Army aircraft. The US Army aircraft have so far left illegal migrants to Guatemala, Peru, Handers and Ecuador including India.
It is being said that by sending illegal migrants back like criminals, Trump wants to send a message to the world that he is very strict in the case of illegal migration. Now the return of illegal migrants from civil aircraft is undoubtedly falling low for the Trump government, but its impact will be less.
On the other hand, if the migrants are sent back to their country from the US Army aircraft, then it will be very effective. America’s tough message will go to the whole world that if someone commits illegal infiltration in their country, then what can happen to it.
A few days ago, Trump had said that this is the first time in history that when the US government is sending these ‘illegal aliens’ back into the army aircraft. For years, people who were laughing and laughing at us, now they will start respecting us again.
However, Donald Trump’s decision to send illegal migrants back in this way is definitely in controversies. Many countries including Colombia also expressed displeasure over Trump’s decision. Columbia did not accept this decision of the Trump government and sent its civil aircraft to the US to withdraw the citizens. Colombia clearly stated that he does not want his citizens to return from the US Army plane. Colombia sent its civil aircraft to America in which its citizens returned to the country with respect.
Other opposition parties, including the Congress, are trying their best to surround the Narendra Modi government for the return of Indians in this way. From Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav to Shashi Tharoor, many leaders have targeted the central government in this matter.
