‘Petition should be heard in the High Court’, Supreme Court refused to hear the petition against bulldozer action in Sambhal

The Supreme Court has refused to hear the petition of a petitioner who reached the Supreme Court against bulldozer action at its factory in Sambhal, UP. The Supreme Court asked the petitioner to speak in the High Court."Auto" Style ="Text-Align: justify;"> & nbsp;

Mohammad Gayur of Sambhal had to say that on January 10 and 11, the administration ran a bulldozer at his factory on 10 and 11 January. The Sambhal administration neither gave any notice before the bulldozer action, nor gave them a chance to present their case. In the petition, Sambhal DM Rajendra Pencia, SDM, CDO and Tehsildar were demanded for contempt action against him."Auto" Style ="Text-Align: justify;"> & nbsp;

Citing the Supreme Court’s decision on 13 November 2024, the petition said that the court had asked to issue a notice to the accused of illegal construction and give a chance to present his case, but it was not followed. The bench of Supreme Court Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai and Vinod Chandran of Justice refused to hear the petition and said that the petitioners can put their point in the Allahabad High Court."Auto" Style ="Text-Align: justify;">

The petitioner argued that the factory which was broken was the only source of his income, but the Supreme Court said that the High Court is capable of listening to his petition. They should keep their point there. It should be noted that the Supreme Court had also made it clear in the November order that the administration is free to remove any illegal construction in places like public land, road, railway track or reservoir."Auto" Style ="Text-Align: justify;"> & nbsp;
