In Kolkata, West Bengal, a government employee attacked 4 fellow employees with a knife when he was not discharged. After this, he kept walking on the road with a blood stained knife. The police have taken him into custody.
According to officials, Amit Sarkar, who hails from Ghola in Sodepur in North 24 Parganas district, is in the Technical Education Department of the West Bengal government. She is currently posted at the workmanship building in Newtown area of Kolkata.
On Friday morning, he had a fight with his fellow employees over the holiday, after which he attacked him with a knife. The four injured- Jaydev Chakraborty, Shantanu Saha, Sarta and Sheikh Shatabul were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. The condition of two of them is said to be critical.
Amit Sarkar started running away with a knife on the road. During this time, Kolkata Police tried to stop.
