Noida International Airport on Friday signed an important MoU with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) (MOU). Under this agreement, uninterrupted bus service will be provided from Noida Airport to major cities of Uttarakhand like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Haldwani.

Air services will start in summer from Noida

Noida International Airport will open for passenger flights during this summer season. As soon as the commercial operation of the aircraft starts from the airport, a streamlined bus service will be started by the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, which will facilitate passengers to reach various tourism and religious places in Uttarakhand easily.

Noida Airport said in its official statement that this partnership is an important step towards strengthening regional connectivity. Through this initiative, passengers will be provided with smooth and convenient travel experience to their destination.

Noida International Airport is connected to the Yamuna Expressway due to its strategic position, providing easy road connectivity to the major cities of Delhi-NCR, Noida and western Uttar Pradesh.

On this agreement, the Managing Director of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation said, ‘We are proud to announce our strategic partnership with Noida International Airport. This partnership is a major step towards connecting the major cities of Uttarakhand – Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Haldwani to Noida. This will promote tourism, speed up economic development and ensure convenient journey for passengers.

In the first phase, the airport will have a runway and a terminal, so that 12 million passengers will be able to travel every year. When the fourth phase of the airport is completed, its capacity will increase to 70 million passengers per year, making it a major air center in the region.
