1. 487 and illegal Indian immigrants will return from US, government was informed about 298

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the US has marked 487 and illegal NRIs to send back. Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt said that now 298 immigrants have been given information. It will be taken care of not to misbehave while sending them. On February 4, the US had submitted 104 illegal immigrants in handcuffs and chains.

2. RBI reduced interest rates after 5 years; Loans can be cheap, existing EMI will also be reduced The Reserve Bank of India reduced interest rates after 5 years. The repo rate has been reduced from 6.5% to 6.25%. Now banks can also reduce interest rates on loans like housing and auto. RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said that inflation is expected to decrease further in 2025-26, so interest rates have been reduced.
When will you get cheap loan, The interest rate at which RBI gives loan to banks is called repo rate. Due to low repo rate, the bank will get a loan at low interest. If banks get loans cheaper, then they pass the benefit to the customers. That is, banks also reduce their interest rates. However, this deduction is done in 1-2 months.
