BPL 2025: The World Cricketer Association has warned the Bangladesh Cricket Board that if the players are not given the money, then the BPL T20 league may be in trouble in future.
The BPL team is accused of not giving money to the players.
New Delhi. Seeing the success of IPL, Bangladesh Premier League i.e. BPL has been engulfed in crisis. This league is failing to give money to its players. Earlier such complaints used to come out of the tongue, but now they have become official. The World Cricketer Association has warned the Bangladesh Cricket Board that if the players are not given money, then the league may be in trouble in future.
This problem related to Bangladesh Premier League i.e. BPL payment has come to light when its 11th edition is at the last stop. The final of the league is between Chittagong Kings and Fortune Bharshal. Prior to the final, CE Tom Muffet of World Cricketer Association has also spoken to the Bangladesh Cricket Board about this. According to the cricbing, the problem of payment is related to the BPL franchise court monarchy. Asif Mahmood Shozeeb, advisor of Bangladesh’s Sports Ministry, has met Mohammad Shafiq Rahman, the owner of the court, Mohammad Shafiq Rahman after the matter came to light officially.
After this meeting, Asif Mahmood held a press conference with Bangladesh Cricket Board President Farooq Ahmed and BPL Governing Council Secretary Najmul Abdin. It said that if the franchise fails to give money to its players, then legal action will be taken against him.
The court, which is accused of not giving money to the players, is the captain Taskin Ahmed and coach Pakistan’s veteran Ijaz Ahmed. The court monarchy was at number 5 in the current season of 2024-25. He won 6 out of 12 matches.
