The news of these attacks came to light when the house of a Awami League leader on the outskirts of Dhaka was attacked by protesters, but his supporters defended him.
It is alleged that the leader of the Anti-Disconnection Student Movement had gone to stop the robbery of the former minister, but he was targeted by the miscreants. The government of Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus called the army during the demonstration of a student organization in Ghazipur, where his workers were attacked on Friday.

The workers were attacked, many were injured!
According to media reports and witnesses, the people of the neighborhood and Awami League activists attacked the activists during the attack on the house of former liberation war minister AKM Mozammel Haq in Ghazipur, injuring many. The leaders of the students’ platform claim that their workers went to right to stop the robbery. He alleged that the police did not help him when the attackers attacked him.

15 students were admitted in hospital
However, the Ghazipur police said that as soon as the information was received, the security forces reached the spot and rescued the students, out of which 15 were admitted to the local hospital. Later, some were transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital due to serious injuries. Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retired) Mohammad Jahanangir Alam Chaudhary visited the hospital and has promised to catch all the attackers and bring them to the dock of justice.
