Three players of the Indian cricket team visited the Shri Jagannath temple in Puri on Saturday before the second ODI match against England at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday and took the blessings of Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Lord Jagannath. Washington Sundar, Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel visited.
These three players Washington Sundar, Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel visited the Jagannath temple in the morning amid tight security. Police said that the players visited the security personnel. Washington Sundar later said, “Looks great to see.” The police has made extensive security arrangements for the movement of players between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
The Indian cricket team started the ODI series in a brilliant manner and registered a bang in the first match. In this match played in Nagpur, the hosts won by four wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the series. It has to be seen which of the two teams win the second ODI.
