1. BJP’s return after 27 years in Delhi, won 48 seats, confined to AAP 22; Congress again zero
The BJP government will be formed in Delhi after 27 years. The party won 48 out of 70, while AAP won 22 seats. The Congress could not win even a seat. In 2020, the BJP won just 8 seats, this time it benefited from 40 seats. At the same time, AAP loss of 40 seats. BJP contested 68 seats this time. The two seats were for their ally Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and JDU.
This time AAP’s vote share has decreased by 10% as compared to 2020. At the same time, BJP +’s vote share has increased by 8.64%. The vote share of the Congress has also increased by 2%, but the party has been reduced to zero due to 3 consecutive assembly elections. Bail of 67 candidates out of 70 Congress was forfeited. The difference between AAP’s defeat in 14 seats is less than the votes of the Congress.

By -election: BJP snatched UP’s Milkipur seat from SP, the biggest win of 61 thousand votes In the by -election in Milkipur assembly seat of UP, BJP candidate Chandrabhanu Paswan defeated SP’s Ajit Prasad by 61,710 votes. The seat was vacant after SP leader Awadhesh Prasad became an MP from Ayodhya. On the other hand, DMK candidate Chandrakumar VC won the East East Assembly seat of Tamil Nadu.

4. MP- Dipped in Mahakumbh of CM of Rajasthan, decision to increase honorarium of priests in Rajasthan
The two Chief Ministers took a dip in the Sangam together and offered Arghya to Surya. Bhajan Lal also took a bath in Sangam on 19 January.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma of Rajasthan and CM Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh took a dip in Mahakumbh together. CM Bhajan Lal held a state cabinet meeting in the fair area itself. A total of 115 minister-MLAs, including Bhajan Lal Sharma, reached Prayagraj. 3 decisions related to temples were taken at the state cabinet meeting.

- 3000 rupees will be given instead of 1500 every month for enjoyment in the temples of Devasthan Department.

Registration starts for NEET-OG 2025, March 7 last date, exam will be on old pattern on 4 May The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 on 7 February. The exam will be on the old pattern from 2 pm to 5 pm on May 4. Candidates can register by visiting neet.nta.nic.in, the last date for registration is 7 March.
