Atishi said- Results came for 9 days, no CM face in BJP
Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said-
The public hoped that after the result on 8 February, the CM’s announcement on 9 February and the oath would be done on 10 February. The people of Delhi wanted our work to start from February 11, but here only the date is moving forward. Even his Chief Minister is not being elected from BJP. It is clear that they do not have CM face.
6 Chief Minister’s contenders…
1. Ravindra Indraj Singh
Ravindra, who comes from the Punjabi Dalit community, has become an MLA for the first time. In Punjab, this community is called a religious Sikh. There is not a single Dalit Chief Minister in the country at this time. The BJP has made an OBC in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and tribal in Odisha, Brahmins in Maharashtra and Rajasthan. There is no Dalit Chief Minister in any state at this time.
The BJP has been trying to make Dalits in its court for a long time, but is not getting success. The BJP had to pay a huge price for the resentment of Dalits in the Lok Sabha elections. Even after much effort in the Delhi elections, the BJP could not get the vote of Dalits and slum dwellers.
While issuing the third part of the party’s resolution letter (Manifesto), Home Minister Amit Shah had said that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to give Dalit CM to Delhi. The government was formed 2 times. Went to jail, then there was a chance, yet the Dalit CM did not make it. In such a situation, Ravindra can be made the Chief Minister to help the Dalits of the entire country including Delhi, Punjab.
2. Shikha Rai
Shikha Rai Greater Kailash- Corporation is a councilor for the second time from 1 ward. In this election, he defeated the veteran AAP leader and cabinet minister Saurabh Bhardwaj by about 3 thousand votes. Shikha, a lawyer by profession, has been the vice -president of the state BJP and the state president of the Mahila Morcha.
Opposition parties often accuse the BJP and the Sangh of being anti -women. At present, the CM of any state ruled by BJP or NDA is not a woman. Opposition parties also have a woman Chief Minister in only one state (West Bengal) in parties. In such a situation, BJP can give a chance to Shikha Rai.
3. Pravesh Verma
Pravesh Verma is the son of former CM Sahib Singh Verma. The entry coming from the Jat community defeated former CM Arvind Kejriwal by 4099 votes from New Delhi seat. He has also been a two -time MP from West Delhi. He won the 2019 Lok Sabha election with 5.78 lakh votes, which was the biggest win in the history of Delhi.
Admission has been associated with the Sangh since childhood. No election has been lost so far. It is possible that under the strategy, he was not given a ticket in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, so that a chance could be given in the Delhi Assembly.
The BJP can try to reduce the non-Jat Chief Minister’s displeasure in Haryana by creating Jat CM. At the same time, the peasant movement can also be helped.
4. Vijendra Gupta
Vijendra Gupta, who started his career with student politics, has become an MLA for the third time. Vijendra, who was the vice president of Delhi University, has traveled from the corporation councilor to the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. He was a councilor after three from Rohini ward and became an MLA from Rohini seat in 2015.
In that election, BJP could win only three seats. Vijendra has also been the President of Delhi BJP. Vijendra is the BJP’s big Vaishya face in Delhi. He also has a strong hold in the Sangh with the organization. In such a situation, Vijendra is being told to be at the forefront of the race for the post of Chief Minister.
5. Rajkumar Bhatia
Rajkumar Bhatia is the vice president of Delhi BJP. He has a strong hold from the union to the organization. Rajkumar was very active in the slum campaign, which proved to be a game Changer for the BJP in the assembly elections. The background of RSS and ABVP also strengthens Bhatia’s profile.
6. Jitendra Mahajan
Jitendra Mahajan, who started politics with ABVP, has become an MLA for the third time. Earlier in 2013 and 2020, they were selected from this seat.
