Delhi new CM oath ceremony: The swearing -in ceremony of the new Chief Minister will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2025 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. An official has informed that more than 25,000 security personnel will be deployed for this grand program.
The ceremony is expected to be held at around 12 noon at the huge ground in the middle of the national capital. The top BJP leaders, including the Chief Ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled states, are expected to join it. The official said on Wednesday, “More than 15, more than 15 companies of 25, 000 policemen and paramilitary forces will keep strict monitoring. He said that ‘strong’ security arrangements will be made to maintain law and order.
He further said, “According to the security plan, more than 5,000 policemen will be deployed along with the paramilitary forces around Ramlila Maidan and around it. We have identified more than 2,500 strategic points, where heavy deployment will be ensured. At the same time, ‘Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Ravindra Yadav told’ PTI video ‘that Delhi Police has been preparing for the event for the last two days.
Tight security
According to the police, more than 5,000 policemen and 15 companies of paramilitary forces will handle security. Commandos, quick response teams (QRT), PCR vans and SWAT teams will be deployed. The sniper will be deployed on the surrounding tall buildings. AI- CCTV cameras that identify based facial will monitor the entire area.
Ban on traffic
There will be traffic ban on these routes from 7 am to 4 pm.

Advice for railway passengers
Please tell that passengers going to New Delhi railway station have been advised to go towards Paharganj. Instructions have been given to avoid going towards Ajmeri Gate.
