Police said on Wednesday that 21 -year -old Ram Swaroop Kushwaha has been arrested in connection with theft in the house of an army retired soldier in the city.
Bharuch Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) CK Patel told PTI that the accused and another person allegedly entered the house four days ago and stole gold and silver worth more than Rs 2.74 lakh.
Accused Ram Swaroop Kushwaha told the police during interrogation that he had earlier broken the high security circle of superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat in Bandra area of ​​Mumbai, but the security guards of the superstar had caught him and the person who came with him. .
DSP CK Patel said that the accused Kushwaha and Minhaj Sindha were arrested by the Bharuch B Division Police on the charge of theft in a house in Mona Park Society. A stolen goods worth Rs 2.74 lakh have been recovered from his possession.
According to the police, both were detained on the morning of March 2, 2023, when they managed to enter the outer wall of Shah Rukh Khan’s house and were later caught by the security personnel present in the campus.
