In the month of February, rain put a brake at a rapidly rising temperature. The states including the capital Delhi received rain in the early morning, due to which the minimum temperature was seen and once again people started feeling cold. Along with the rain, the weather has become pleasant due to cold winds. Along with this, the rain has also cleared the air of Delhi.
The Meteorological Department had already issued a storm alert with rain in Delhi. According to the forecast, this situation will remain till evening today (20 February). After this, there is a possibility of drizzle in Delhi tomorrow i.e. February 21. The weather had started changing in Delhi from yesterday evening, the minimum temperature dropped due to cold winds, which came to 10 degrees Celsius. Recently, the minimum temperature was recorded between 12 and 13 degrees.
Talking about maximum temperature, it can still be 28 degrees today, but tomorrow (20 February) it can come up to 25 degrees Celsius. However, after this, the mercury will start increasing once again and people will start feeling the heat. However, there will be a situation of mist or fog in the morning. Along with Delhi, some areas of UP including Noida-Ghaziabad and Haryana and Rajasthan also have changed the weather due to rain. Apart from this, snowfall has also increased on the mountains.
Improvement in air too
Talking about pollution, some improvement in the air is being seen after the rain. According to the update of 7 o’clock this morning, Delhi’s average air quality index has been measured 167, which falls in the middle category. Let us know that if the AQI of an area is between 50 from zero, then AQI is considered ‘good’, ‘satisfactory’ when 51 to 100 AQI is considered ‘medium’ between 101 and 200, if AQI of a place is considered to be ‘medium’. If between 201 and 300, the AQI of that area is considered ‘bad’. If AQI is between 301 and 400, then ‘very bad’ and 401 and 500 is considered to be in the ‘serious’ category if there is AQI.
