Andhra pradesh Muslim employees will get early leave from office during Ramadan BJP Welcomes

Andhra pradesh govt ramadan leave: The NDA government led by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) of Andhra Pradesh has allowed Muslim government employees to leave the office one hour ago in the month of Ramadan. Earlier, the Congress -ruled Telangana government had made the same announcement, but there was a political dispute over this decision.

In Telangana, the BJP described this decision as a politics of appeasement and attacked the Congress government, but this decision of NDA’s ally Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh has been welcomed by the BJP Pradesh unit.

Which employees will get this facility?
The Andhra Pradesh government recently issued this order, which was issued by Principal Secretary (Political) Mukesh Kumar Meena as an official circular. This exemption has also been given to Muslim employees working in wards and village secretariats including contract and outsourced employees. However, this feature will not apply under emergency situations, where the presence of employees is necessary for the concerned departments.

BJP support in Andhra, protest in Telangana
The Andhra Pradesh BJP unit supported the move. Party leader S. Yamini Sharma said, “We follow the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. The BJP supports the development of all regardless of caste, creed or religion.” BJP leaders in Telangana criticized this decision. Union Minister B.K. Sanjay Kumar and Hinduist MLA T. Raja Singh accused the Congress government of minority appeasement.

Raja Singh raised the question that why no such facility is provided to “41 days of Ayyappa initiation”? Telangana Congress and TDP cleaning Telangana Congress General Secretary Jeshan Lalni said that TDP and BJP are friends and coalition allies, but TDP is giving this relief to Muslims, while the BJP is opposing it in Telangana. At the same time, Telangana Minister P. Prabhakar defended the government’s decision and said that “this exemption has been given for the last 25 years”.
