Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has exposed a large vehicle theft gang in Agra. Two members of this gang have been arrested from Sikandra police station area of ​​Agra. Police have received two Tata Safari vehicles, one aluminum plate, an Rian plate, cash 1000 and two mobile phones from them.

The arrested accused have been identified as Akash Singh and Abdul Samad. According to STF, the gang used to bought total claims and full accidental vehicles from insurance companies and manipulate their chassis number. Then the numbers of these vehicles were changed and sold at expensive prices.

STF expose big vehicle theft gang

According to the police, the gang used to buy the damaged vehicles in a road accident and change their chassis number and other identity. After this, these people used to repair the vehicles and sell them to new owners. Also, these gangs used to make profits by selling various parts of AC vehicles to mechanics.

Police engaged in questioning the accused

The arrested accused are being interrogated and the police is engaged in finding other people associated with the gang.
