In Dubai, Pakistan won the toss and chose batting. The team was all out after scoring 241 runs in 49.4 overs. India achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 42.3 overs.

In the press conference after the match, Iyer said, ‘If I have not played a single match in Pakistan yet, I do not know how it feels there. But it is neutral venue and was challenging for both teams. Any victory against Pakistan is good because matches are always competitive.

He further said, this is a big challenge because there is a lot of pressure. I had a third match against Pakistan, enjoyed it very much.
