On the first day of the UP board examination in Jaunpur, a controversy arose over the hijab during the frisking. According to the information, the Hindi examination of the high school was in the first shift on Monday, which was lying at Sarvodaya Inter College in Khudauli, Modern Convent School in Khetasarai. After checking the students at the examination center, admission was given to sit in the examination. During this time, the school administration asked four girl students to take off the hijab, because they said that checking is necessary to identify the face. However, the students opposed this and refused to take off the hijab, after which they were stopped from taking the exam.

What did the parents of the student say?

Parent Ahmadullah gave his response in this matter. He said that his family had 10 girls tested, but due to the compulsion to remove the hijab, 6 girls of the house did not go to the examination center. Despite this, four girls went to take the exam, but they were asked to take the hijab at the examination center. The students refused to appear in the examination without hijab. According to Ahmadullah, after checking the female teacher, he asked for permission to sit in the examination hall wearing the hijab of the girl students, but the school administration refused it.

These girls left the paper

Among the 10 girl students deprived of the examination, Guraini resident Zainab, Fatima, Maryam, Naima (daughter Abdurrahim), Ummkhaula, Rushda (daughter Ahmadullah), Zubia (daughter Ahmed Vasim), Humaira (daughter Ahmed Naeem), Siddika (daughter Ahmed Shamim), Kashifa (Daughter Tufel). On the other hand, school manager Anil Kumar Upadhyay said that a large number of Muslim students were taking the examination at the examination center and taking the examination. He also clarified that for matching the attendance sheet, the faces of the girl students are necessary to open, so that there is no disturbance in the identity. When four girls refused to take the hijab and take the exam, they went back.

Checking was being done by female teacher

On this matter, Principal Dinesh Gupta said that the students were being checked by the female teacher. 4 girls wore a hijab and they were asked to remove the hijab for matching the admit card. The students denied this, after which she went back from the examination center.
