Gods and Goddesses coming to Mandi city for International Mahashivaratri festival.
Mahashivratri festival is being celebrated today in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal and Chandigarh. There are lines of devotees for Jalabhishek in the pagoda. The temples are echoing with the shouts of bombs and bombs.

Along with this, devotees are reaching the ancient Shiva temple in Tara Baba Kutia in Sirsa, Sri Ghanteshwar Mahadev Temple in Rewari, Bara Patthar Shiva Temple, Sri Ambakeshwar Temple in Kaithal, and village Birdhana in Jhajjar district.
On the other hand, the International Shivaratri fair in Mandi, Himachal is starting today. A grand short jaleb (procession) will be taken out. Earlier, DC Apoorva Devgan Raj Madhav Rai Temple of Mandi, Tarna Mata Temple and Dev Kamarunag will duly offer prayers.
This will be followed by the small jaleb. This will reach the Baba Bhootnath temple via Mandi city. Shiva’s procession will also come out from Vyas Ghat to Bhootnath Temple before Jaleb.
Police bands, police and home guards will participate in the jaleb. The chariots of the three major deities of the district will follow them with the beat of drums. Mandi city has been decorated for this festival.
Jaleb will include 3 deities Today’s small jaleb will attend three deities Shukdev Rishi, Dev Jathi Veer, Dev Dagandu Rishi, while the grand royal jaleb will include 216 in the grand royal jaleb. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will also be involved in the royal jaleb on 27 February.
For Mahashivaratri festival, 8 deities have reached Mandi only yesterday. The rest of the gods will come to Mandi today and stay in the market for the next seven days.

Shaiva, Vaishnav and folk deity confluence occurs in Shivaratri It is also believed that it has a confluence of Shaiva, Vaishnava and folk deities. Shaiva i.e. Lord Shiva, Vaishnava Lord Vishnu and folk deity Kamarunag are called. The Shivaratri festival begins only after the arrival of Dev Kamarunag.
