Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav has blamed the withdrawal of funds of foreign investors for the decline in the country’s stock market. He said that withdrawing money from foreign investors shows that they have no trust in India’s economy.
Target against government on social media
Akhilesh Yadav posted on the social media platform X and wrote, if the continuous falling stock market is due to withdrawing money by foreign investors, it means that they no longer trust India’s economy. ‘
The former Chief Minister of UP described the expenses being incurred to attract investment by the government as useless and meaningless. He said that local industry and production have been badly affected. Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the public’s purchasing power (capacity to spend) has decreased, which has led to a decline in internal demand and it has also affected the profits of companies.
BJP accused of collecting donations from companies
He also accused the BJP government of pressurizing companies to give political donations. He said that this “extortion” is weakening the Indian market and is negatively impacting the prices of stock.
Akhilesh wrote, ‘If the reason for the continuous fall of the country’s stock market is to withdraw money from the Indian market, then it shows that foreign investors have lost their trust in India’s current economy. The crores of cost that is spent in the name of attracting investment is so fruitless. One meaning of this also comes out that the local industry, production has been badly affected. Also, there is a shortage of money in the hands of the public, due to which the internal demand is continuously decreasing and the profits of companies are also decreasing. Out of the profits of companies, the collection of donations of the BJP government is also discouraging the Indian market, which is having a negative impact on the stock market. Investors say today, BJP does not want!
Significantly, Akhilesh Yadav is continuously attacking the BJP government for the last several days. He has raised many questions on the government many times during Mahakumbh.
