However, Cabinet Minister and BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule claimed that every colleague of Mahayuti would get representation in legislative committees. Bawankule clarified that there will be proper distribution of power between us and there is no tug of war between us.

Shiv Sena and NCP have 9-9 committees

Out of a total of 29 Legislative Committees, BJP has already claimed 11 important committees, while Shiv Sena and NCP have 9-9 committees. The Speaker has asked both the Shiv Sena and the NCP to present their names for the committees, but they have not yet claimed their committees and they have no information about the BJP’s announcement. This decision is likely to bring a new turn in the politics of Maharashtra, because it can also affect the balance of power.
