Asteroid strike earth in 2032: Some time ago, there was a possibility by the American Space Agency NASA that a large Esteroid would hit the earth in 2032, which could cause mass havoc. This estroid was detected by scientists in December 2024. NASA had speculated that this estroid has 3.1 per cent of the possibility to hit the earth, but now a new update has come from NASA, which is being reported that the risk has been reduced by 0.28 per cent.
The name of this Esteroid is 2024 YR 4, which is 177 feet i.e. 54 meters. The surprising thing is that this Esteroid is moving towards its target at a speed of 64.373 kmph. This can remove the energy equal to 8 megaton TNT, which is 500 times more powerful than the atomic bomb that falls on Hiroshima. If this Esteroid collides with the earth, he will directly attack the ground, trigger fire and shockwave. Even if it is attacked in the sea, it can also cause tsunami. If this steroid enters the Earth’s atmosphere, simulation shows that it can burst in the air or a large pit can be formed in the ground.
Which states of India will affect?
By the way, NASA has said that now the Earth has no threat from this estoroid, but if it collides, then in which states it gets to see its effect. According to NASA, this Esteroid in India would have seen a bad effect in Maharashtra, Orissa, Northern Telangana, Southern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal, of which Mumbai and Kolkata were at the highest risk.
Scientists are closely monitoring
NASA’s James Web Space Telescope International Labs is closely monitored on this esteoid. Bruce Bates of the Planetary Society says that the chances of these risks often increase before it decreases. This Esteroid currently holds the Torino Scale Rating 3/10 which is showing a major catastrophe.
