Apart from this, a big question is also why it took so much time to extinguish the fire? No one has answers to these questions even after 7 days.

Three theory on fire for the second time
First: Fire erupted again due to lack of cooling correctly
In the Bhaskar investigation, a theory also came out that the fire department may not have cooling the market basement properly. Due to negligence, there has been a spark somewhere, which has again erupted with the wind at night. After this, the fire has gone to the top floor with the help of plastic wire.
However, this is the weakest theory. Because from the basement directly goes to the top floor of the fire and no major fire from that spark in the basement raises questions on this theory. People associated with the market administration and security are telling this theory a reason for the fire.
Second: Someone accidentally started power supply
Some traders of the Shiv Shakti Market told the off camera that when the fire broke out on 25 February. It was also extinguished. Power supply was also stopped before sealing the market. However, the power supply of some other markets of the neighborhood goes through the Shiv Shakti market. In such a situation, there is more apprehension that someone has started the power supply of the market again the next morning. Due to this, there was a short circuit on the top floor in the market and caught fire. At present, no concrete evidence has been found yet.
Bhaskar tried to talk to Shiv Shakti Market President Sunil Kothari, manager Raju Bhai and Harpal Singh on security that day. They were not ready to answer. At the same time, any official of the Torrent Company, which supplied power in the market, refused to give some kind of answer.
Third: Somebody set fire for their own benefit
Officers and police associated with Surat Municipal Corporation suspect that the fire on 26 February may also be conspired. It is feared that on the pretext of the first day arson, someone has not set this fire anywhere to achieve his business benefits and insurance claims, which later became so frightening that it took the entire market.
Surat Mayor SAARCARE Mevani has also said that the timing of the fire is suspected that someone may have set this fire to take insurance of some shops. Otherwise, after cooling on the first day, the next morning and how did that also caught fire in the top floor?
After all, why did it take so much time to extinguish the fire?
- Water did not reach inside due to shutter shutdown: Bhaskar investigation revealed that on February 26, when the market caught fire, all the shops were locked there. The shutters were closed from inside. In such a situation, the water of the water treatment being done by the fire brigade team was not fully reaching inside the shops. It was not affected by the fire in the shops. Although later an attempt was made to control the fire by cutting the shutters of these shops, but by then the fire had become very bad.
- Piles of clothes worked as petrol: There was also a big problem of entry in the market. There were piles of clothes and sarees everywhere. The market building could not be carried on its slab due to the market building. In such a situation, a lot of fire could not be controlled quickly. At the same time, mango textile traders said that any textile market gets fire and it is difficult to control it quickly. The Shiv Shakti textile market had a large number of synthetic and polyester clothes. Synthetic and polyester cloth work as petrol for fire. This was the reason that the fire became frightening and could not control quickly.
After controlling the fire, the teams reached for investigation, there were similar waste marks on every floor of the market.
The highest loss on the fourth-fifth floor Shop constructions suffered the most on the fourth and fifth floor of Shiv Shakti Market Building. From the basement to the first, second and third floors, shop construction has suffered less damage, but the cloth material kept in the shop has suffered a lot due to the flames and later to extinguish it. Meanwhile, the flames did not reach some shops. Computers and printers kept in these are left right.
On the initiative of the Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association, now the police administration has given permission to shop traders from the basement to the third floor with the people of the administration for 10 minutes in a group of 5-5, and also permission to bring the transactions kept in the shop and bring cash.
There is no permission to go to anyone on the fourth and fifth floor. It is being told that the building slab has been very damaged on both the floors. Going there is still not free from danger.
SVNIT team started investigation, report will be reported after 15 days
Dr. Atul Desai, Dr. Atul Desai of the Civil Department of SVNIT and his team have started an investigation for the stability report of the damage to the structure of the building after the fire incident in the Shiv Shakti Market.
As soon as the fire was reported, the traders reached the market. Seeing the hard work of his years burning in front of the eyes, he could not stop the tears.
Fosta made relief funds, builders came forward to help Rajasthani traders
The Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association (Fosta) has created a relief fund to help the traders ruined by arson in Shiv Shakti Market. For this, an account number has also been issued.
In this fund, along with the BJP organization of Fosta and Surat city, the Association of Garment has so far given assistance of Rs 11-11 lakh. According to an estimate, an amount of Rs 2 to three crore is going to be deposited in the relief fund.
Fosta will provide medical treatment to traders affected by this fund, education of their children and other necessary assistance.
Here, Leo Classes operated in Surat city has also announced that if the child of a businessman of Shiv Shakti Market is studying with them, then he will not take fees from him. If the children of the affected traders come to study in the next year’s academic session, then they will be taught for free.
The 3 builders of the city have also announced to provide shops for these traders for the next one year for the next one year. Fosta is trying to help these traders by doing MoUs with many CA, doctors and educational institutions in the city. Under this scheme, there is an attempt to help them by making cards for all 834 traders.
