An IED (improvised explosive device) explosion was killed and five others were injured in an IED (improvised explosive device) explosion in Khujdar district of Pakistan’s disturbed Balochistan province on Wednesday. Nal Police Station House Officer (SHO) Bahawal Khan Pindrani said that the IED was a motorcycle plant and was exploded from the remote.
District Health Officer Rafiq Sasoli said that the condition of two of the injured is critical. He said that the bomb disposal squad reached the spot and inspected the scene. Javed, Senior Superintendent of Police of Khujdar, told a television news channel that the explosion occurred in a motorcycle parked near a college close to Nal Bazaar. Many other vehicles were also burnt.

He said that the timely action of the security forces postponed another terrorist attack in the Pishin area of ​​Balochistan. He said, “Based on intelligence, security forces took action and arrested 4 terrorists in the pishn, who were planning a terrorist attack on Wednesday.” Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the blast in a statement and said that orders have been issued to provide the best medical care to the injured.
Bugti said in a statement, ‘Terrorism will be abolished. Anti -peace elements will fail in their nefarious objectives and the people involved in this incident will be brought to the dock of justice. Balochistan has been facing violence for more than two decades. Earlier on January 26, 2 people were killed and 7 others were injured in a car bomb blast near a passenger bus going from Khujdar to Rawalpindi.

Islamabad -based Think Tank, Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies said that there have been 79 terrorist attacks in the country so far this year, resulting in 55 civilians and 47 security personnel, while 45 civilians and 81 security personnel were injured. It says that 156 terrorists have been killed, 20 were injured and 60 others have been arrested during anti -terrorism operations so far this year.
