The US Homeland Security Department says that 220,000 Indian immigrants are illegally living in the US. Many of them have been recently deported from the country. Satpal Singh is also one of those people who were sent back to India from America. Satpal, who arrived at Satpal Singh India Today Conclave, told the whole story how he reached America and how he was treated during the Deport.
Satpal Singh is from Ferozepur district of Punjab, and is one of the illegal migrants going to America. He had moved to America with the hope that he would be able to get better jobs and means of livelihood there. Satpal says that he was cheated by an agent, who took 55 lakh rupees from him and sent him to America by illegal route. He raised this money by selling his land.

It was ignored by saying “I Dont No”!
Satpal Singh says that he and other Indian migrants were brought from America via Panama. He was kept for 15 days in Panama, while in California he was kept in a very cold room for five days, where no attention was paid to his health problems. He said that on demanding medicine from him, the authorities used to ignore the bus “I Dont No”.
America reached America by giving 55 lakh rupees to agent
Satpal also said that he was illegally rushed to America by implicating him in false promises, while he had planned to go through a legal way. For this, he also sold his land. Unfortunately, the agent cheated him by recovering Rs 55 lakh and according to Satpal’s claim, he was taken to America through an illegal Dunki route.

Now Satpal will never go to America!
Satpal Singh said that in America, Indian migrants are treated very badly. They are imprisoned by misunderstanding and they are sent back to the plane by applying fetters, while citizens of other countries are not treated as such. He further said that after returning from America, he realized that there is no better place than his country, and now he will never go back to America.
