Controversy has arisen over the 12th class political science question paper of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The BJP has alleged that questions related to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have been asked in the question paper, through which trying to influence the students.

BJP leader Vineet Joshi has said in a press conference at the Punjab BJP headquarters in Chandigarh that by asking such questions, an attempt is being made to bow down to the younger generation towards a political ideology, which is not appropriate in any way. State Education Minister is engaged in pleasing senior leaders of the party by asking such questions.

Joshi also shared a copy of this controversial question paper in the media. He said that this paper has been ordered from a child. He told that we have ordered this paper from a child. The roll number and QR code have been removed from the question paper.

So that the child cannot find out where the paper came from. He claimed that the paper is real. When the AAP spokesperson and senior leader were contacted in this regard, he said that he has no information about it right now.

Questions asked in paper

Joshi said that this exam was held on March 4. Part ‘A’ on page number two of the question paper had the 18th question:

“When was the Aam Aadmi Party established?”

This question was of one issue and it was given four options:

1. 26 November 2012 2. 26 January 2012 3. 26 December 2012 4. 15 August 2012

Similarly, there was an eight digit question in Part ‘C’:

,Describe the policies and programs of the Aam Aadmi Party. “

Joshi says that if they had to ask questions related to political parties, then questions related to old and established parties should have been asked. Instead, questions about Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and Ambedkar could be asked.

Vinies Joshi said that by doing this, education system is being misunderstood. When the media questioned the political science subject in which political parties are taught. In such a situation, why do you object to this question.

Joshi’s reply to this was that the question related to Congress, Akali Dal and BJP could be asked. Questions could be asked about the constitution makers Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh. but it’s not like that. This means that young children are being taught about the Aam Aadmi Party in schools. This effort is being made to influence the voters’ minds and youth.
