Since 2003, during the tenure of former Pakistan Army Chief General Pervez Musharraf, rebel activities had increased considerably here. He launched several campaigns against extremism in Balochistan. BLF’s role in Balochistan rebellion

Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) is Iran’s separatist group. This organization is accused of running activities against Pakistan. In 1964, BLF was created by Jumma Khan in the Syrian capital Dam Brach. It played an important role in the rebellion of Sistan and Balochistan (1968–1973). BLF played an important role in the 1973–1977 Balochistan rebellion of Pakistan. In the year 2003, the group was led by Allah Nazar Baloch. It is said that BLF became very strong under his leadership.

Pakistan claims that these two organizations make their hideouts in Iran and sometimes Afghanistan. For a long time, Pakistan has been accusing the Iran government of giving shelter to the leaders and extremists of these groups. At the same time, Pakistan has also been accusing India of financially helping some groups in Balochistan. However, both India and Iran have denied the allegations of Pakistan.
